    As asked in the comments in the attached link, what exactly is the plastic container contributing to the process, apart from being a fancy plant pot?

    Surely the plant itself does the filtering & humidifying.

    the concept is what counts , the plastic and patents are the dodgy bits

    might be an idea for a conservatory to filter the air coming into your house

    The comments in the link have hit the nail on the head. why not just have a plant and not bother with the ridiculous plastic container?
