    Hey I'm doin english next year in arts omnibus. can anyone recommend some books/articles/texts that are used on the syllabus or maybe email me some notes or something? would be a great help thanks everyone :cool:

    It's probably a little bit early for the syllabus to have been set just yet, but if you want to take a look at their website and see what's on offer this year, it'll probably give you an idea to see what will be on offer next year. Some articles or texts may be listed there also.

    If they still do the childrens lit module in first year you could read The Wizard of Oz and Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone and William Blake, Songs of Innocence and Experience. Another course I did was called critical readings and we read Jane Eyre.

    But as the other poster said the syllabus has not been set, but if you have the time they are some good books to read.
