Use Sky+ box with Lidl satellite?

I was wondering...can I use my Sky+ box at my brother's house? He has the Lidl Satellite system. I presume his dish is pointing in the correct direction for me to obtain Sky under my account? I didn't have to verify my account usingthe phone line, as I have none.

Is it as easy as plugging out his Silvercrest box, hooking up my Sky box and presto?

Yep, assuming that it is already set up for 28.2, but if he only has one cable coming from the dish, you wont be able to use the "+" features. No need to contact Sky.

It will work as long as he is indeed aligned to Astra 2/Eurobird. However, with only one connection to the LNB, you won't be able to watch one programme while recording another or record two simultaneously -- you'll only get basic PVR functionality.
