Will definately check this out, I've been a bit reluctant to buy any of the archives releases in case they sounded too familiar but this sounds interesting.

Well one half is Humanoid, Brian Dougans.

They have had numerous aliases though together, covering everything from techno to psychedelic rock  If you click on the various aliases below, you get a feel for the extent of the releases and variety of genres...

They recently released a great compilation of their early stuff done under different aliases actually...

The stuff ranges from unique proto-FSOLy stuff to generic Mentasmy acid-house (Visual Attack), well worth checking out...

Haven't checked out Environments 2 yet, but I'll eagerly lap up anything from the electronic side of their oeuvre, can't stand their new psychedelic-rock direction (I don't have a problem with it or find it lazy or unaccomplished compared to their old stuff, just not my style)

Yeah that's a great release alright, haven't listened to it now in a few months, must get back to it.

I don't mind the psychedelic rock albums they have done, give them the very occasional listen... haven't bought the latest one though.
