€14/50 isn't that steep for target ammo medicman, .22 target ammo will run to about €12/100, and since 9mm is about 2x.22 ...

Presumably you mean €12/50? And it'd be easy to pay more. I was asked to pay 11.50 a box for Lapua Master before. I was not amused.

Nono, I wouldn't consider any ammo I've bought recently over the odds. But in terms of stuff above Master level, Match EPS was €20 a hundred at the cheapest, Tenex was €25 a hunded at the cheapest prices I've found. Master was great stuff, €13 or €15 a hundred, and dead reliable. Looking forward to getting my mitts on some Centre-X now to see whether Conor's barrel is just freakishly fond of the stuff or whether it's as good as it seems to be. It's a bit pricier at about €17/18 a hundred, but it seems very, very good for that. Conor found it at least as good as Match EPS.

I feel I must concede however to the fullbore guys, €225 a hundred for Hornady TAP .308 is shiver-inducing stuff. Roll on reloading!
