Buying from the US PSN

Just happened across this. If you go to http://hdmoviesource.com they'll sell you US PSN cards, and email you the code within a couple of hours of purchase.

They do charge a shipping/handling fee though. So if you buy a $50 card, they add on $10 "shipping". $60 is actually a little less than €50, so in a way you kind of end up paying the same as you would on the EU store, just that you get the games a whole lot earlier.

I've confirmed this to be legitimate myself by the way

You have to set up a new account on your PS3 with a valid US address. Google it, there's plenty of tutorials on how to do it floating around the net.

You could set up an account with entropay and us your normal credit card on the US PSN store.

You can use an Irish credit card with a bull$hit US address as the guys said and it works no bother. I buy everything off the US PSN Store, the only stuff that wont work is DLC like little big planet costumes etc.....

Thats not 100% true. An Irish issued Mastercard definately doesn't work on USN PSN. An Irish issues VISA may worj with US PSN purchases.

If you mean the PSN Video store then no, thats locked to US residents only. I heard its possibe to access it tho it's quite difficult

DLC is tied to the region coding of the game disc you have. Euro DLC for PAL coded PS3 games & US DLC for US PS3 only.

anyone know where u can get sterling psn credit online? i set up my uk id day before yesterday so i could get COD5 maps and SOCOM.Whe n i try to enter credit card info to deposit money to account, i get a notice saying that the billing address is not correct because even though i put in Co Dublin or whatever, it still has selected ny default that Its in the UK and i cant change this..... suppose it could b same for other regions psns??? thanks for ur help

I just use my credit card to buy off the US store.

Dont even need to add funds its just like the EU store, Just click Buy and confirm. Jobs a good'un

High Five. Couldn't get any real addresses to work but good ol 124 Fake Street worked a charm.
