Zebra Label Printers

    Hi.
Need some help with a Zebra ZM400 label printer. Trying to print 2 inch labels and everything looks hunky dorey but the 1st label isn't coming out as i'd like it. The number under the barcode keeps getting cut or halved if you like. I've been told to use the ZDesigner ZM400 - 300DPI drivers.

Labels are printing perfectly from the bespoke application in the US but not here. Same app we use.
Printer drivers are set up on 3 citrix servers and all settings match.
We are using IP to connect them up through the internal network card.
By entering the IP Address into any URL, you can control the printer but i've been told the settings on the server will take precedence over the IP settings. Is this true ?

ZM400 is set up exactly as how they say.
3 inch labels are printing out no issue.
By adjusting the Tear Off settings and Label Top you can tend to get a bit closer but it is so inconsistent and never right.

Anyone got any experience with these or ever seen this issue before.
An expert vendor has looked at it but never seen it before and Zebra Support aren't much help either.

Any help would be much appreciated

I feel your pain, had some Zebra printers a few years back but was getting corruption on the company logo. Getting a solution was impossible and theres very little help available. We ended up switching back to TEC printers which have their own bag of problems.
The only thing i can think of is connecting directly to the printer (USB) and messing with settings until you get it printing as you want. Then replicate these settings to your server

You might want to change the drivers to the free Nicelabel drivers, which will allow you to your own page sizes etc

    Nicelabel.com or jidsol.com for download

This issue has been sorted !
It emerged that the 2" labels that were ordered were actually in fact 1/16th short in length which caused the print jobs being short and the number under the barcode kept getting cut off.

They thought they were ordering 2" labels but in fact the detail in mm wasn't correct.
Causd me unreal heart-ache but we have a solution now.
