Quick question for someone out there that might have a long memory. I'm trying to put together a nostalgia CD for a friend of mine who has a landmark birthday coming up, and (showing my age here) she was mad about a certain song when she was younger. It used to be played alot on Dave Fanning's radio and TV show that went out simultaneously on Network and Radio 2 on Sunday mornings.

All I know is that it was by an Irish band, it was a fairly cheerful tune and the chorus went "Don't go jumping from a skyscraper" or something to that effect. I'd love to source a copy of this somewhere and include it on the CD, she'd love it. It was on release in the early nineties I reckon.

Trouble is, that's all the info I have on it. Can anyone here please tell me who it's by and what the name of it is, internet searching yields nothing...

Sorry, but it wasn't ''Where's Me Jumper'' by the Sultans of Ping...?

No, thanks but it definitely was not that one, it might have been slightly earlier vintage by a year or two I think...

Nope, defo not that one either but thanks for trying. It's by a band that didn't really go on to great things I reckon, this was possibly their only hit, confined to Ireland too. I do think they may have been from Cork. Something about bloody skyscrapers, it's driving me crazy anyway!

It wasn't by A House, was it?

It probably wasn't Fred....sure they only started within the last 5 years or so.

If it was on the Beat Box, the only bands from Cork I remember were the Sultans and The Frank & Walters.

Close but no cigar, they're too recent. Damn them having a song called skycrapers as well!

This crowd I'm looking for probably weren't seen against after 1993 or so. Appreciate your efforts though!
