you can arrive later but its still advised to arrive early, did it last week, just go straight to getting bags scanned and metal detector and then off to your gate to wait

With Online check in you go straight to the security check at the departure gates

How much time you need all depend on where you are leaving from, what time etc.

How much time do you usually give yourself to get through security and to the gate. ?

So what would you recommend then, im flyin at 11 35, would arriving at 10 30 be acceptable...

you would want to be at the gate 30 mins before it takes off, and iv only ever been 15 mins at security even in summer rush. id say an hour before hand is enough. however just make sure you dont leave it too late, traffic etc

I have never seen traffic bad around Knock at 10.30 on a Saturday

What airport are you leaving from ????????????????????

I hate it when people on this form ask generic question about
'how long it takes to get to airport ?'
    or
'can I get a refund on the flight I will not be able to take ?', without giving one morsel of information about where they are going from, where to and with what airline.

    Sorry for the rant

You'll probably be going from one of the D gates, so depending on how quickly you walk allow an extra couple of minutes to get there as well.
