The easiest way to bypass a firewall there is is www.logmein.com :)

I'm using it to write this post. Essentially you are controlling your pc at home using a web browser over port 80, so nothings blocked.

I am getting following error after installing it on my machine.

    Using LogMeIn

Open LogMeIn locally in your web browser.
Your current Windows credentials will be used to log in to LogMeIn.

This host (DUB1WS1013) is not currently connected to the LogMeIn.com web gateway service.
    (The data is invalid. (13))

Looks like its being blocked, probably by Websense or something.

    Bad luck.

Why would you be using your uni/work account to log in to logmein.com?

Gmail is blocked here at work, but if you go to www.google.ie, click gmail on the top left, you can log in and use gmail as normal.

    Ken.

I've a firewall blocking me from accessing certain websites to watch tv episodes and films.
I live in an apartment and get my broadband directly from the company that runs the place. They've blocked these sites to make sure there is no lagging of the connections for everbody else.
Would it work for this as well?
