Item not dispatched

    I ordered and paid for an item on ebay last friday (16th) . It said it should be dispatched within 2 days. as I ordered before business hours friday morning I thought that day may count but even still. The item has still not been sent out even though I emailed the seller and he assured me I would have it next Monday(26th). The item is only in Limerick, Im in Dublin.Just wondering how long I should wait and what possible action I can take?

    Are u sure it wasn't posted? It could be that was posted but got delayed in post. When seller shipped the item if he went to the post office most should give a receipt ask him for copy of it.

    Will not be a tracking number or anything just a receipt for payment.

    I emailed the seller yesterday and he confirmed is wasnt dispatched yet. Should only take one day, two at max to reach dublin from Limerick

    I know, there the laziest ***** about :P

    I am still waiting on my item and no response from my email on thursday. I am going to send an email now, should I threathen with negative feedback? Also, when can I open a dispute with paypal over the item and does the money go back to my credit card or just show up as credit in my PP account??

    You can start a dispute any time you like, and TBH, I'd do that now. Not posting it for over a week is just ridiculous. Once you have the dispute open, do not close it until you receive the item, or a refund. Bare in mind that it will automatically close in 10 days, unless you escalate to a claim, or close it yourself due to being resolved.

    Once a dispute closes, you cannot re-open it, so make sure it's all sorted before it closes.

    When you do eventually get it, give him negative (or neutral) feedback anyway, as that's incredibly bad service from him.

    Thanks, I have opened a dispute and paypal have sent the message to the seller. I have to until 15 Feb to esculate to a claim. Hopefully this will encourage him to post the item.

    I did notice his buyer feedback, he is buying the item himself from HK and sellling at slightly higher price( I know, should have researched more but not the point). Maybe he is waiting on his order to come through from HK then post to me as recently added feedback says he is waiting two weeks on the same item. Is there something ebay can do about this as I suspect he is selling stuff he hasnt actually got yet, especially when he claims shipment within two days :confused:

    Very bad selling tactics, wouldnt mind if he had the items already. Cant blame him for making money but when he hasnt even got them yet :mad:
