Personalised spam

Has anyone had any experiance of these? I rarely ever get spam but lately I got two or three in an account I use for on-line purchases.
When I say personalised I mean they were using my name and the were links to blogs with automatic linking to a casino site.

I reported all emails and blogs involved but the only way I could think of them getting my details are through a leak/hack of some of the shops I've bought from as my pc is clean.

So just wondering if any of you have got any spam with your name used.

I get personalised spam sometimes. Basically someone sold your personal information to spammers. This is probably a forum or something like that, where you signed up and gave them your name and e-mail address.

Admit it your accusing boards of selling on our info:D:p

I had thought of that although I'm usually fairly careful with shops and privacy policies but you can't always be sure they'll respect them.

Its just in this instance it wasn't standard advertising spam it was made to look personal it came from hijacked email accounts (according to a techie at msn) and linked to a public blog that automatically passed through to a casino site which I suspect had a trojan download on it (I securely checked out these sites)
Its not important anyway I was just curious if it was common.
