got this at samsyerman. rang belfast store and paid by credit card. as the exchange rate is good at the moment.
    http://www.samsyerman.co.uk/productdetails.asp?ProdID=2627

priced at €1399 at currys in ROI and £1199 on Currys Uk website, also €1240 + del. on Pixmania

its £949 on website but its only changed recently. i played dumb and said i saw it on website for £899 and they honoured it!

delivery to west of ireland for £15!

heres hoping exchange rate gets better by the time my card gets charged.

I bought a 46" for £989 sterling (£50 delivery from UK) when sterling and euro were near parity (it was with PRC Direct although i see their price has gone up since )..... and trust me, you will not be disappointed with the TV :)

Have they guaranteed you that? Not meaning to cause you worry, but that particular TV can't be got for love nor money anywhere!

I got the last one in a local Sony Centre last week, I wanted to pick it up in Richersounds but no sign of stock coming in. The sony centre weren't expecting to see any more of them again till mid-late Feb at the earliest. Same story in retailers all over the UK.

It'll be well worth the wait though, its a savage TV!

So PRC Direct deliver to the republic? I tried to order one but it kept asking me to enter my post code, how did you bypass this?
