Irish Dawn of War II Beta player list

I think we should start a list of Irish Dawn of War II beta players here so that we can add each other to our friends list in Game for Windows Live.

I'll start the list off.

Just press the home key in game then go to friends and then add the names above.

Irish Ventrillo server called L4D (used for both Dawn of War II and Left 4 Dead) can be found at:

Im off work at 8, so ill be on from 9ish id say...assuming i dont have a COD4 or Mohaa league match.

As its been ages since ive played any DOW games, i may need a bit of gentle pushin along and being told what to do :P ...especially seeing as how it doesnt require base building.

I'd be more at home with Warcraft 3 or C&C Tiberium Wars, but this will be my main RTS for the next few months till Starcraft2 comes out, so i plan to get good at it

If you go marines pick devestators and scouts with shotguns to use first, tactical squads are pants for what they cost. Assault squads are good but expensive. That's all I've learnt so far

Game is out on the 19th in the US and the 20th for us so I'd imagine the beta will finish up in the week before the game is released.

NAT errors all over the place, easily one of the most stressful games ever to get a game goin between friends

I think Hamachi might be an option if its still borked on release

Did you and your mate have the correct ports open SeantheMan?

Myself, Telgere Maximillain01 and King Jowels have had little issue with Nat Errors.

Seems ranked 3v3's lag all over the shop while cutom 3v3's don't. Also while pings are not too important in this game having a good performance bar does stop the game from lagging in the 3v3's to a big extent.

Yeah, i have the correct ones open, i entered them yesterday...similar ones need to be open for xbox live.
I may try configure a static IP later but its so much hassle just for a game....
