RB-wont let me connect to xbl??

hey..im signing in to my xbl profile and start up rockband,but when i click on to mutiplayer it wont even let me highlight "RANKED MATCH" or "PLAYER MATCH" so i cant click into it???if this happened to some one and they solved this problem let me know..:D thanks alot
