Recently given up on the random pub & club meeting someone when everybody is falling out of the place locked.

While on lunch today one of the girls in work was chatting to me and just queried on me love life. I know there was nothing in it as she has been with her bf for about 2 years now. Was talking to her about the hole pub and club thing and chatting online. She told me she met her current bf at a singles night in a club. to give it a try as the male to female ratio is similar and obviously about 99% (fair enough there is a girl that is along for moral support) of the girl are single

Took a quick look online to no avail. Was wondering. Does anyone know of a place that would have singles night on a somewhat regular basis...

I know boards has them the odd time but none planned by the looks of it,

I know sites like maybefriends.ie hold them fairly regularly - but youd have to be a member to find out details.

THE VAULT at Connolly Station used to do them in conjunction with FM104 kinda got its name for being a singles bar. Don't know if its still like that now but you could give it a go.

USERNAME123 is right about maybefriends.com you do have to be a member or if you know a member could ask them to keep their ear to the ground for you.

Ya, Coppers is prob one of the best places i've ever been to for a fun nite out.

Go there every year after the all ireland final - there always seems to be plenty of singles there...

    As for datable material...I donno!

depends on what age you are really, most of the singles nights on maybeefriends etc cater for 24-32 kind of bracket, very little if your under 24

OK folks lets avoid the Off topic minefield that is coppers, thanks.

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.

Website I heard of recently is called www.dinetomeet.ie I think it originated in Galway. Not sure if they've branched out further than that though! It sounded like a new and innovative idea though!
