Hi, I have a hp laptop but the charger connector is stuck in the charging port and if i attempt to stick the remainder connection in, you can see sparks and smell burn....

any way of getting the old piece of the charger out? If ya do. you might get away with just replacing the charger. The socket itself might be damaged. That can be replaced aswell. hopefully it won't come to that.

whats the model of laptop?
