    Hello all,

Does anyone know who is offering the best deposit rate for a lump sum at the moment.

I don't trust the stock market but would be looking to lock it way for only about 6 months.

Do you reckon any money will be safe if banks go bust, what about Halifax and Ulster?

    Cheers for any help.
