    Wii Fit helps girl walk

Wii Fit helps the paralysed to walk, what next, curing leprosy and casting out demons?

An Irish girl is using Wii Fit as part of the physiotherapy regime helping her to learn to walk again.

Ten year old Nicole Cahill from Enniscorthy, Co Wexford recently took her first steps for four years and is using Wii Fit as part of her recovery routine.

"The Wii Fit has really helped. It's great because there are so many balancing and stretching exercises on it," Nicole's mother said. "The Wii has taken an awful lot of pressure off her as well."

We think it's fabulous that someone has found a use for a Wii Fit balance board other than stopping a dusty cardboard box under the sofa from collapsing on itself.

Not exactly the loaves and fishes story I was hoping for, but interesting all the same. :)
