Does anyone have an experience with the Wellington Eye Clinic? Any recommendations/advices? It looks like the clinic is more expensive then EO or Optilase, but does it worth it?

Lots of reviews here if you search.

I had my own LASIK done there and everything about it was absolutely spot on.

Thank you, Bluetonic! Yes, I have seen a few reviews, but I would like to hear about some recent experience. Do they have Intralase? What surgeon you can recommend?

Absolutely worth it, I had my surgery with them early last year and everything about them was fantastic, consultation was thorough, op went great and after care was very good too. I even got a text that evening from the surgeon asking how I was and if I had any problems before I went in next day for my checkup.

All the details are on their website.

It depends what type of laser eye you are going for. I had LAISK so am not going to recommend a surgeon or talk or talk in detail about my experiences as they might not be relevant to you.

I had my surgery at Optilase and they were awesome. I had the Lasek wavefront, which is more expensive, but you get what you pay for. All the staff were professional, I was satisfied with the amount of tests they did on my eyes and consultation prior to surgery. Plus they give you free check ups for a year afterwards.

If you need any info, they will post you out alot of information on the different types of surgery. Plus the consultation is free, so youre not losing anything by going and checking the place out.

I had my surgery last July and I am so delighted with the results. My vision is better than 20/20 and no more wearing contacts and glasses for me. Where ever you go, just make sure its a reputable place!

It's in Sandyford at the Beacon Hospital, it's in the same complex of the Beacon Hotel.
