    Anyone go to it?

I drove over there yesterday evening after work.
Wasn't too impressed. Thought it was very small - spent 10 minutes at the end looking for the other arena's where other machinery would be on display.

There were some serious big machines there, but IMO they were not relevant to the Cavan or surrounding counties. Huge power harrows and seeders etc.

Only a couple of tractor dealers there - No New Holland or Same dealers even though there are dealers for these on the outskirts of the town. Loads of guys trying to sell quads and lawnmower tractors. NC appeared to be the only machinery manufacturer there - the rest of the machinery was brought by local dealers.

Loads of stall traders there selling tools and other junk - you'd have a good time if you were an impulse buyer.

Crowd was small, but had filled up well by 8.30pm. In reality, you would have seen the whole lot in less than an hour.

Ya went up thursday evening meself. As you say not really in touch with what people in cavan and surrounding counties would be buying. Same big machinery you would see at the national ploughing championships.
Great venue for the job though, all indoor and heated!
Did you see the deere john (i think 7920s) and fusion type baler arrangement!! An animal of an outfit:eek: very impressive but id like to see it trying to get into fields around cavan or longford!!
