    Hi,

The Euro/pound exchange rate is at 1Euro/0.942p this morning, up from last week quite a bit.

If I were to buy something in the UK on my card today, would the transaction base itself on this rate (admin costs etc aside) ?

    Cheers,
    Rob

You'll probably get a rate of approx 92.5p and then a currency commission levied by your card issuers of 1.75% (2.75% if it AIB)

A rough calculation is add 10% to sterling price to get euro price.
