Is this something we should be proud about and happy?

I mean, we are now committing to taking in possible terrorists from Guantanamo bay.
Haven't we enough issues to be concerned about in this country without
this. Why is Ireland so eager to 'please' and to be seen as the big
happy go lucky saviour of the world?

Yes we have an airport which might have been used by an aeroplane which might have been used to transport them. Also airspace. Boo Ireland.

I hardly think that makes us morally or legally responsible for clearing up america's mess.

Concern about these peoples backgrounds & possible extremist islamist/ islamist terrorist involvement (and mental condition) at this stage is entirely understandable in my view.

Especially mental condition; on pure blody spite they may well be a menace afte having to endre what they did. think t's a damn disgrace. The US should resolve this with their invadin ales. Ireland, yet again, wanting to be seen to be al so merciful. It's so strange!

I bet too, we will want to take te MOST detainees to show the world how GREAT we are!

What do you mean by "possible terrorists"?
