HI

My question is if you buy an Item from Ebay that is valued at €500 which is being sold by a drop shipper from Ireland but the item is being sent from outside the EU.
Who would be the person responsible for the Import Tax and Vat on that item?
Is it the receiver of the product or would it be the person that received the initial payment i.e the drop shipper as he is based in Ireland?
