I just caught part of a program on TG4 that featured Muzu Tv. Has anyone any experience as a user or poster on it?

I remember this thread from a while ago but nothing much came of it, it seems. Looks like a great idea, anybody know how much you get paid per view?

On the face of it it's a Video MySpace, is that the case?

I had helped a mate of mine who worked in the studio there and spent some time in the office. It is a great idea and they work really hard.

The revenue share works by a share on the in-video advertising. You can see the ads on every player - they are not bad and are not annoying or take up the entire player.

It is split 50/50 with the content owner and MUZU TV. Looknig at the press they have been getting lately it looks like the industry is liking the return they are seeing.

A video based myspace is an accurate enough description for the viewer. But for the artist its different. Myspace won't commit money and resources towards filming you in their studios and the certainly don't commit to giving you a split on advertising revenue. I have no idea whether or not any artists are generating any meaningful levels of revenue but it's a sweet little idea and the website looks great.

Indeed. So it's a TV station/Record Company Hybrid?

    Have you seen Spinner.com?
