    ok so...

im buying a truck, not sure wheter il go for a 3.5 tonne transit or something or a 7.5tonner, maybe a cargo or somethin along those lines..

but anyway, it will be mainly for my own use bringing my cars and familes cars to dirrent motorsports..drifting and so on..

but if i want to do the odd recovery on it i will need a policy that covers the car on the back of the truck?

anyone enlighten me on the cheapest way to get this type of policy and what are my options.. possible setting up in business as recovery?scrap? whast best?

    cheers

Nothing to stop you going for garage policy , when i started out had no vat no or trading name and wasnt problem, was in around 2k for 2 people on full comp. Have added ins for everything on licence this year c,w etc and all liability, premises, def. workmanship and its €2600. Go to a broker for motor trade and see.

I'm with St Paul's, as are a lot of the small operators I know. Done through a local broker.

Started out with ARB and now with Allianz, fully comp both drivers, can drive anything thats on licence , had 5yrs private no claims and have recovery insurance included. Ring around brokers in your area or ask someone local in trade who they're with. When applying you have umpteen options on what you want covered or not
ps it also includes social & domestic
