    H i,
I have thought long and hard about making this first move and need hope someone can advise me.
I have been in the HVAC / mechanical engineering business for the past 10 years and have gained a lot of practical knowledge.
For the past year I have been toying with an idea for a product that I cannot believe is not on the market - I need it my house.
The product is aimed at the domestic market but would easily be adaptable to commercial.
It would be an energy saving device.
Very simple idea and inexpensive to produce.
I know what I want this device to do - my problem is I need someone to create the device ie design and build a prototype.
I really need to protect myself and that is what has been holding me back.
I suppose I would be offering the right person a share of the business.
The sales and marketing side is where I am strong.
The product would more than likely have to be produced in the Far East unfortunatley. If there was any way to procuce it here econimically I would prefer that.
This product has World Wide appeal and is really needed.
I did consider the Dragons Den (the UK version not the Irish) and may still persue that but only after it is produced and protected as it would be a good launch pad.
The mechanical side of the product is reletavely simple so what I really need someone who is a genius on electronics.
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Sorry for being so vague but if it ever works I promise I will let you all know how it worked out.
