Zen Vision M and Power Adapter Pack

    I took my brothers Zen Vision M and bought a Power Adapter Pack today to charge it as I have no computer with me at the mo....

    Basically I have no clue how it works...The actual plug thingy (main piece) has an end, which I assume is for the Zen itself, but it fits in nowhere on it. On the user guide it says the end is for 'Zen with DC Jack' or something? Whats that?

    A quick search revelaed I have to apparently have a sync cable in conjunction with the Power adapter pack to charge the Zen Vision M??

    Anyone use this equipment?

    Plug the AV dock into the bottom of the Zen M and then plug the charger
    into the AV dock.

    This is the AV dock

    As you can see this is my first MP3! Thanks, but I dont have one of those. Would they come with the Zen upon purchase and would my brother have it at home? If he doe'nt, could I buy one?

    Yes the normally ship with the Zen M so check if your brother has it.
    You will also need the dock if you want to connect the player to a TV
    to watch video on it or if you want to use the line out to connect to
    a stereo.

    Creative are no longer listing it on the .ie site as a spare part. However
    cables were available from other sources that would connect straight to
    the player and charge without the dock - these have different shaped
    connector than the one you purchased for charging via the dock.

    Thanks, my brother said he thinks he has the part. Should have probably looked at all the options before buying the Power pack so quickly. Looks like Im ok and thanks for the info Gran!
