Hey lads, Does anyone know where I can find the portfolio numbers for land that I have permission to shoot on. Land owner can't remember them.

    Thanks in advance

send me the coords of the middle of the farm and i'll send you the folio numbers. Use goggle maps PM them to me!!!!!

PS if you cant find the coords because your farm is in the low resolution section of goggle then let me know and I'll pm you an aerial photographic map web site for the whole of Ireland, here you'll find national grid coords with the mouse over the land in question, you'll read off the coords and with these i'll get your folio numbers...

Failing this you can visit the Land registry yourself and set up your own account with a minimum payment of €150.

I hope you'll remember me when the time come to pick your side!!;)

You can also call into the Land Registry public office down near the courts. You can stand at the counter, look at their computers and point out the piece of land in question. The staff will give you the details free. They are very helpful.

Yes you could try this but they don't give out any number free AFAIK as the new system now automatically logs any inquiry and the system needs payment... You can search and if they call up the wrong plot of land they will continue searching till you find you relevant plot, its no harm to have you camera phone ready and simply photograph the screen to copy some folio maps without the cost,(its always handy to know what field the neighbors own and right down there folio numbers as well) this is what i done before i opened up an account.
I got about 20 folio numbers and i only paid for 5 searches:D (no harm done as its all done in front of PC and in front of the computer operator, i just laughed it off and she laughed back..

Some time you need to have a bit of a neck on you and trust me i have some neck:D
