Hey, not 100% sure if this is the right forum (apologies if i'm wrong)... My sister is currently in Australia, and because she's an asthmatic she has inhalers... While she has a prescription to get some over in Oz, we have loads of spares here, so I was wondering if there are any guidelines surrounding posting medication abroad?

They were all gotten by prescription, for my sister... Do you need to fill out a customs form or something? Does anyone have any experience with this??

    Cheers.

I'm fairly sure it's illegal. Technically by doing so you would be setting yourself up as a pharmacy. Best advice I can give you is don't.

    It's fairly dodge.

It would be a lot less hassle for her to get a prescription over there.

you need a license to import/export pharmaceuticals - although it is ok to carry personal supply with you - i think posting them is a legal grey area

Apart from the legality think of the danger of sending the pressurised inhaler containers in an unpressurised cargo hold on an airplane
