we got the rumour yesterday that DC intend on coming to Dublin with their "King of" Tour

In my local skateshop pure the owner nigel in there said its happening hes heard it from a supplier/dc I can't actually remember (it was a few days ago) but he did say its happening!

It would be sweet, but word from the lad that showed the DC people some of the spots said they weren't happy with the cities attitude or the ground.
Its a bit touch and go, but hopefully it should happen.

Let's just hope it doesn't rain eh? :rolleyes:

This is happening the 25th +26th of July 2009, and their European team and some of the international DC team will be visiting to skate with all the locals. The main event is on at 3pm at Woodquay on the Sunday civic center. Rumour has it whoever wins will accompany the DC team for the rest of the tour.

As soon as we have more information, we will keep you posted.

I imagine that when DC find out there's a city wide extreme sports and music festival on in the middle of the city... Well I think they'll probably turn up, ya know?
