Glasgow - things to do

I'm going to Glasgow for a few days next month. My friend is flying out the day after me so I'll have a Tuesday night by myself in the city centre. I've been to Glasgow for brief weekend trips and know the centre a little and know some pubs I like.
However I don't want to leave my only option for the night to go to a pub alone and play with a jukebox. Has anyone any cool suggestions?

Also just because I mention pubs doesn't mean you can't suggest any cool ones you have been to.

The Golf lounge, just to the west of Buchanan Street is good for a night, you might want to be with friends though, you rent out personal booths and can play interactive golf in front of big screens.

Oran Mor on the cormer of Great Western and Byres Road is a converted church, sometimes has decent live music etc.

Or, if you want an adventure you could try the Brazen Head, supposedly Glasgow's hardest pub -

Its honestly not that bad, and very Irish friendly.

Granary in Shawlands is also a good safe bet.

King Tut's is always busy during the week and you would be ok going alone. They have a good mix of signed and unsigned acts on. Here's the link for Feb's gig guide plus a map. It's only a 2 min walk from the city centre. http://www.kingtuts.co.uk/index.html?month=2&year=2009
