eBookers - any catch?

I'm planning a trip to the States in April for my wife and I.

I've been checking out the flights on eBookers, and I'm pretty impressed with some of the prices I've seen. United Airlines via London seems to be particularly good.

I know it says it includes taxes and fees, but are there any hidden fees I should be aware of before I cough up?

Edit - I see there is the following, which is fine by me: "ebookers Service Fee: A booking fee may be applicable which is a maximum of €22 per ticket booked online and €32 per ticket booked by telephone."

Maybe it's a stupid question, but maybe living in Dublin has made me question low prices!

Never mind, trailfinders seems to be better value again.

    Any catch?

Yes you have to fly through London.

You'll have to do immigration in USA when you arrive - this wil cost you time and if the queues are lon it may cause you to miss your connection.

You will also need stg for in the airport.

All in all not worth it. Pay extra for better flights.

Thanks for the links folks. Enii - we are just going to go with Delta and go from Dublin to Atlanta, and then on from there. We lose half a day, but it seems a much better idea for the reasons you mentioned. Doesn't even cost that much more either.

    Good one Eoin!

Have booked flights through Atlanta with Delta myself in March!

It's my first time not flying with Aer Lingus to the States, so it will be interesting to see if there is any difference in service or facilities.
