Currently trying to plan a wee trip down to the Galway comedy festival.
The website is awful as they still have last year's dates up.
Can anyone actually confirm when the festival is taking place?

there is a possibility that it may not be happening this year! Due to the change in the licensing laws theatres now can't serve drink on Good Friday.

    I will keep you posted!

I have it on good authority that the Galway Comedy Festival is being re-scheduled to the October Bank Holiday weekend....

Gonna be a serious comedy weekend so, what about the Carlsberg Halloween Howls Comedy Festival in Portlaoise, that was on that weekend last year too?
Was an awesome weekend in Portlaoise last year, all the top acts there in great venues.

Bloody archaic non-drinking good Friday tradition...

So disappointed the comedy festival isn't happening this Easter but I suppose it will be something to look forward to in the Winter anyway
