I got 9-2 on betfair and backed him again at 7-2 in paddypowers.

I will have my tip for tommorow later today.

Just a note if you back a horse and take the morning price in Boylers,
you will get paid the SP if it's higher.
No brainer if you ask me.

I gave an insight into my opinions on the race on another forum.
I also tipped the horse in 2nd as his main danger and the f/c paid 33-1
everyone has their ways of studying a race and i look at the form of the horse and the races he ran in seeing how the other horses he raced against have done since.
I also look at trainers form and jockeys.Tony Culhane has had only 2 winners this year but both for Channon.

    All very good.

Pity you didnt post it on THIS forum.

Had a score on him so dont get me wrong Im glad you put up the selection.

Just a bit annoying if people put threads like yours as there is no back up or reason behind the pick,

Perhaps he doesn't want to give an insight into how he picks his horses.
Either way cheers for the winner Lunar;)

glad you had a score on him.im going to have a bet on Ballyveeney
in the 2.20 tommorow at Fontwell in a novice handicap hurdle..odds will be around 3-1 but keep an eye out for market confidence. He ran in a much better race last day and was going well when fell at the last.He would have been beaten by a horse called Midnight Chase but that horse has gone on to win easy next time.
Ballyveeney would only need to reproduce that run to win here.
good luck if you are having a bet...

Winged Arrow for the win at 8-1 in the 2.00 race at Wolverhampton.
used to be trained by Madden in Ireland and Jonjo trains him now.
    Poor race and should win.
If you want to play it safe back e-w:D

Good man lunar from another Forum our nations is fancied in same race heres what he says

"Our Nations Tommorow in the 2.00 at Wolverhampton looks a good thing when ya look at his previous race were he was runner up to El Diego, who has scored again since, and was 10 lenghts clear of the 3rd horse, he's dropping in class and is up in trip hopefully connections get it right. he's 8s in the forecast."

Keep up the good work lunar

Excusez Moi tommorow in the 12.40 at Lingfield.
you won't have to wait around long to collect your cash tommorow.
Big drop in class for this horse, his form on the 1st of January is very good even though he finished 5th.He finished 3 and half lengths behind a horse called Harry Up who won a race today (although a weak one)but couldn't have won any easier.
Excusez Moi was giving that horse 17pounds that day !!!
Liam Jones takes the ride after having 2 winners today and the trainer only has a handfull of horses has an ok strike rate of 10% the last 14days.
The last time this horse won was feb 2008 and that time Liam Jones rode the horse, the race was a (class 1listed)for C E Brittain and tommorow he
runs in a class 6claiming stakes over 7furlongs.
    I got 4-1 on betfair earlier(current price 11-4)

Roisin's Prince uttoxeter tommorow at 2.20 odds around 6-1

watch out for a market move on a horse called one zero# in the first race
at Lingfield. He was trained in Ireland and finished 7 lengths to a descent
horse John Oxx trained.Making his English debut in a poor looking race if he is fit and ready he should go close.
I would love to see Halcon Geelardais win the feature race tommorw, probably a weak grade 1 as most of the big guns have be pulled out due to the ground,Halcon Genelardais# will loove the conditions and also the fact that he hasn't to lumber a huge weight which he normally does in big handicap races. If you can get 2-1 or bigger i would back him otherwise sit back and enjoy

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,056 ✭✭✭applehunter

    Good shout with Halcon.

Think he has every chance today to pick up a nice pot.

    Thought Halcon had it.
