I just bought a new lapotop with windows vista home. When I log on it prompts me with my username and a pic of a Kitten, flower etc. I want to change this to the log on screen that I used on my previous laptop where I press ctrl alt delete and the select username and password. Can anyone tell me how to do this please?

Control panel -> User Accounts -> Change the way users log on and off and un-tick "Use the Welcome Screen"

Oops, sorry, those instructions are for XP, just noticed you're using Vista.

For Vista it's a bit more complicated (it would be!) ...
