    100 to be given redundency, 5% pay cut & what it dont mention is the shift allowance is also scrapped:(....

    The governemt needs to take some action, the mid-west is taking a battering:mad: or are we out of sight, out of mind?

    It's not just a Mid West thing, it's a nation wide thing, it's a world wide thing.
    I'm sorry for the 100 people who have lost their jobs but I'm afraid that we are going to see a lot more of this.
    A 5% pay cut is not a high price to pay to keep a job. As for shift allowances, in these present times they are lucky to have any shifts at all.
    The government, well we don't expect them to take any cut backs, do we ?.
