This is a little song i made up, i hope a mojor record compay will buy it off me.
Its more of a hymn really.

    God, lift me up

Oh god raise my spirits high, high above the sky
You gotta be the one, you gotta be the one that loves meh
    Spiritually and invisibly
Do you know what you mean to me?

Raise me up oh lord above your head
Yes i know that its harder when your hands go above your shoulders
And whaddaya think of people being dead
    Like all those American soldiers

Jesus christ will you take me with you on your next flight around the moon
I wanna feel the magic of your work
And take home a piece of your love thats just for me
Could you gimme a spaceship ride to your palace of dreams?

Ah bah ba ba ba ba bababa
Ah bah bababa ba ba ba ba
Ah bah ba ba ba ba bababa
Abara Kadabra the love never left me!!!

    What do ye think?

    Hi Brendan,

Interesting song and topic. I quite like it. First verse is fine. The second verse is excellent - it works really well! Don't know why but the 'Could you gimme a lift to your palace of dreams?' line bugs me.. I think you could do with at least another verse and I'd love to hear the chorus sung. :pac:

    Overall, good work I reckon.

"High above the sky"? "Flight around the moon"? The first line is terrible and I'm guessing you were experiencing some sort of trip when you wrote the second.
