    hows it goin got myself a mac powerbook a few years ago.for makin tracks.and recording sets.dont know any mac owners personally.i gotta get more info on software that you people would recommend to me.what could i get for 500euro.i like the idea of a controler instead of pointing and clicking with a mouse.just opinions

    hey love the tracks.do you use any controllers or keyboards.or is it all with mouse.about the samples used were they with logic or sample cds

    the only samples i used were the kicks,snares and percussion.everything else was made by me in various synths(not loops)the one shots(kicks,snares etc) are from vengeance sample cds.
    i usually play in my melodies on a midi keyboard and tidy up the notes by shifting them to the right positions(im a horrible player)but i have inputted notes using the mouse before.

    no not really,havent looked at it to be honest.dont think there is much point in me using it when i have logic

    thats fair enough.to me garageband is an impressive attempt.if your ever just messin about.:cool:thanks for the advice.

    Garageband is pretty good and easy to use but Logic Pro 8 has everything you could want and more :D
