Driving Test Cancelled

    Hi,

I was due to take my driving test today in Woodview Test Centre, Limerick at 10.00. The roads were fairly icy this morning but by 10am I felt they were ok but the examiner said the test couldn't be conducted. I was annoyed but I understand his reasons.

my question is if this has happened to anybody else, how long were you waiting for a second test date? I called the RSA and they said they would put me at the top of the list so once they received a cancellation from somebody they would contact me straight away. I still dont know how long, on average, I will be waiting though. Does anyone have any idea? Also, there are 2 test centres in Limerick, do you think I will be called for the same test centre I applied for day one or will they send me to the other test centre? Don't want to have to take more lessons and familiarise myself with that side of the city, routes etc.!!

    Thanks

I was due to do my test in waterford city in jan 2008. I had just pulled into the test centre when my phone rang..."hello, this is the RSA calling to tell you your test has been cancelled and you'll be placed the top of the list etc etc etc".:mad:
Had to wait about 3 or 4 weeks until i got to do it again so routes were still familiar but i did take 1 lesson to be sure to be sure!
And if anything, looking back, the cancellation made me do even better when i did the test for real!
