    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1092082/

Not very often we get movies about the First World War, so this one was a definite must see. It's actually quite good despite the fact that it was made on a considerably low budget - but features plenty of ambitious scenes - and I'd never even heard of it until I came across it recently by mistake. There's emphasis on both the home and war front and while it's no Lost Battalion, it is pretty solid and an interesting watch, and it does provide a bit of a perspective not featured in many recent war films.

I heard some guys talking about this today, never heard about it before.... and now it's on here. Weird how that always happens.

It's written & directed by Due South guy! heh heh... cool.

YES! I knew I recognized him from somewhere, but didn't check far enough down on IMDB and just assumed it was a case of mistaken identity....

Looks pretty good. The battle scenes look well made.
