Internet connecton help

    hello,

    looking for big help from someone. first off for the past three months my bt bb has being dropping off once or twice every hour which is really P+ssing me off. to start with it totally went for 10 days. tey sent out a new modem and that got it up and running again but now it drops off every now and again. advice on what i should do. get back on to bt i suppose??

    second problem is the one that is my major concern. since the connection went my main PC hasnt been able to connect to the internet at all. Ive turned off Norton completely and the network we set up for the house ive disabled. im thinking the fault maybe with my asus kn8 sli mobo ethernet connection socket but cant find anything on google??

    or any other suggestions like setting up a solo connection(because i disabled the network) or something would be very much appreciated.
