cubase le 4 for a beginner

I looking to get into some home recording and at the moment I`m using an dell inspiron 6400,roland xp-10, superior drummer and cubase le 4 and gigaport hd soundcard.
all i need is some help to get started, like how to get to use the roland through cubase and superior drummer, how to detect the sound card and be able to record ,so on once everything is up and going i`ll be good to go, any help and advice would be great, cheers.
