    Bloomberg New York has just coined a phrase I'd not heard before to refer to countries facing trouble raising finance. PIIGS.

    Portugal, Italy, Ireland, Greece & Spain :o

    We're back in the same group of countries we were bundled with in the '80s

    The one I heard was "investors are selling PIGS (Portugal, Ireland, Greece and Spain) and buying BRICs (Brazil, Russia, India and China) ". It was first coined a few months ago I think.
