CROSSFIT gym in limerick???

    I'm not aware of any crossfit gym in limerick,

    I’m just curious Barry why has it to be crossfit gym?

    ha ha ur doin all the replying to my threads!fair play to ya! yeah i used to do bjj up in dublin and was told that the crossfit workouts are the best for grappling fitness! i was out there a while back in ur gym doin muay thai with rob ng but i got injured n never got back into it! any chance i could come down and have a go at the crazy monkey?ive heard it brings ur stand up game to a decent level fairly fast?? wat days do u guys train out in caherline?thanks ger

    Barry,

    I'm sure Colm will be along in a moment, but as far as I know the only CrossFit affiliates in Ireland at the moment are CrossFit Ireland ( crossfit.ie ) and CrossFit Northern Ireland / Elite400 ( elite400.co.uk ).

    I'd be surprised if there aren't at least a few people around Limerick doing CrossFit based on the mainsite WODs. Maybe you could post a thread on the CrossFit message board and see if there are any training partners out there for you.

    A better way of getting grappling fit is by grappling with guys better than you. I heavily endorse Ger's product and/or service in that regard.

    oh yeah absolutely im not arguing that at all i'm just saying for days ur not training u might wanna mix it up and go to the gym and ive heard cross fit is the way to go. im all about doin as much bjj as i can get in but that still leaves another 4 days of the wk.thanks

    No prob barryjohn we train every tues, wed & fri at 8pm
