Weird issue with the theme on my blog

    Ok my blog is: www.leimrod.com

    On my home PC, accessing this blog is fine, but in work scrolling up and down the page causes it to respond really slowly, it's not smooth at all.

    The plugins I am using in WP are:
    *AdSense Manager
    *Akismet
    *All in One SEO Pack
    *NextGEN Gallery
    *Sociable
    *Twitter for Wordpress
    *wp-cache
    *WP-SpamFree

    I've tried disabling all of these plugins and it did not resolve the issue. When I disable this theme and make the default theme active the page responds normally.

    I've tested my page in the browsers below:
    Firefox 3.0.5
    Firefox 3.1b2 - with JIT enabled
    Firefox 3.2a1 - with JIT enabled
    IE 7
    Google Chrome

    It seems to respond the best in Chrome for some reason. I've been told the problem is due to the css fixed backgrounds that this theme uses. But it doesn't explain why it works fine on one PC, but on another, with the same browser, its slowed to a crawl.

    Can any of yous test the site and see if it is slow to load and scroll for yous. If you have any ideas as to what could be causing it I'd be all ears.

    anybody? Can you at least go to my blog and see if you are also experiencing the slow scrolling. I need to determine if its specific to my work pc or if a lot of people will be experiencing this slow down.

    It's really irritating, I've found a lot of other people using the same theme on other sites and it seems to work fine for them, it also works fine for me at home on both my Vista x64, x86 and XP SP3 machines. But on every machine I tried in work it is really slow to scroll up and down. Whats weird is that the other sites that have this theme work fine on the work PC's... :mad:

    gah, I hate things like this that I can't figure out.
