    Hi

I was thinking of getting a spine protector with connected elbow protectors. Will be hitting the rails, boxes and kickers again but much harder this time so think theyre a good idea.
Cant remember the make but it has like a wolf logo on it.
Snow & rock sell them for eur220ish.

Anyone used these before or can anyone advise if theyre good value or recommend an alternative?

    thanks

    Dainese probably.

Check out motorbike shops as well as that is mainly what their range is for so will probably find the same things there too.

That looks expensive - seen them here in the sports shops for about 80 and 120 I think.

hey rondog, I have a dainese spine protector (used once) that I can sell you for e40. It doesn't have elbow protection, but I'm sure you can pick that up sererately. PM me if you are interested.

I'm pretty sure it was hervis I seen them in. Most of the Austrian resorts have intersport (and maybe others but generally no hervis) so that will be a little more expensive but not as much as you were talking about.

I've never seen such jackets but tbh i've never looked for them.

I use a small backpack with built in back protection - I find it handier than having to wear body armour and I can remove it if I don't want it at any stage. It's a small backpack with a fairly flush profile so it's ideal for use as a daypack. All I usually have in it is an extra layer, water, some food and goggles/sunglasses depending on which I'm currently wearing...

Not that bothered about elbows or wrists - but then I'm a skier, not a boarder.

I'd go helmet, spine guard, rail guards (after seeing what a botched rail can do to shins). Elbows tend to move and spread impact whereas shins just get smashed!

The description of the demon body armour has 'base memory foam protection' what kind of material is that?
Dont think foam would be enough protection falling onto a metal rail or maybe im confusing the material with that soft foamy material?!! is it a hard plastic type of protection thatis found on the Dainese/normal elbow protection systems?

Had a look myself and it actually says removable hard shell for shoulders, spine and elbows.

Had a look at this site and the demon armour and jocks look like the ticket. 135 euro for both and i think that covers max protection from the derriere upwards.

Has anyone used this before along with the pants?

I bought them but I won't get to use them for another 3 weeks. I can report back then if its not too late?
