    Hi,

A few mates and me are thinking of heading to sunnier climes for some golfing. None of us have done this before and not sure where to start.
Ideally looking for something resonable price wise and that allows players without handicaps to play.
Courses don't have to be fantastic as we are fairly new at this so a bit of sun and a round is all we're concerned with.

    Any ideas appreciated

    thanks,

    Time of year?
    Budget?

Portugal is an excellent spot, but if you can provide a little more info, I'll give some more specific advice....

Time of year probably Spring so Feb, March, April time.

As for budget - not sure as have no idea how much it costs but defo but looking towards the lower end of things in these straitened times :)

Maybe 500-600 all in would be max
(doesn't have to be a week maybe a 3 dayer would do)

    thanks

The Algarve is probably your best bet - they are set-up for deals at the moment and with cheap flights back on the radar its getting better value all together.

My friend is a fanatic golfer and also has a cute little hotel in Amanhavis, Costa del Sol. I am sure if you contact him he would be more than happy to organize everything for you. There are some fantastic courses in the immediate area available. If you are interested please PM me. Thanks Oliver
