Hi, I have a problem and hope somebody can please help. I bought my girlfriend an R4, which worked perfectly from the start, no software needed, just drag and drop the games. I then bought myself an R4 which needed software so i put the required Kernals on it. It worked perfectly and i started watching films. I then tried to put this Kernal on my girlfriends R4 so she could also watch films put somehow messed it up. The screen now is stuck on loading.

    Please save my relationship!!!

Provided you have everything saved, Format her micro SD and clone your files over to her SD card.

Yeah, i tried that this morning, still no joy. I wonder is it the case that the latest Kernal just is not compatible with this card?

Could be. you would want to check and download the correct firmware.

there are different R4 carts around and the software is not 100% compatible, eg. R4 kernal does not work on R4III, etc
