i recently moved into a new house and noticed the door in the bedroom is opening the opposite way than what it should.its opening left to right instead of right to left.this means ive to walk into the bedroom and close the door to get to the light switch.the builders engineer signed off on the house.so who's in the wrong?i've checked the house plans and it shows the door should be opening the other way.i was told this could be againest building regs having the switch behind the door as its a big safety issue.

Well the next obvious step is you either get it done yourself or you see a solicitor. I'd suggest the former.
